Teacher and Mother's Day Gifts

I'd been working on a few new gifts.

We had some big days in May..

End of Nursery School & Mother's Day

 



I gave my Mother and Mother-In-Law Candles, and kitchen items, and I gave my Mom a silver charm with the kids pictures on it.

Teacher Gifts

I admit I was inspired by A Pretty Cool Life.

I definitely love her style and packaging.

 



Candle Making is now a new favorite craft for me.

 

 

I got both teachers Homegrown Mugs from Anthro.

I made a batch of Homemade Vanilla Almonds

And Sewed notecards for them with some new and some vintage linens.

The teachers loved their gifts. I think the fact that everything was homemade made a difference.

Im getting ready for my first EVER craft show..

Im a little nervous.. and there are paint brushes, canvas', wood, paints, glitter EVERYWHERE..

bless my husband I know my stuff is taking over the dining room!

frames, little girl mirrors, plaques, holiday cards and tags...

Such cute gifts for the holidays.

Blakely Canvas {Im back!}

I just realized my last post was SO LONG AGO!

Before my son was born I had zero energy.... and spent most of my free time sleeping, nesting or chasing after Samantha.

Then when he was born... he was a severely colicky baby... I didnt leave the house ... no really.
Check out my blog ...look in the month of Feb 2012.. It was hard times.

Needless to say things have become easier, and I've found time to craft.. which I never thought I would craft again 6 months ago!

Blakely was born 2 weeks ago to our dear friends Chad and Julie.

This is their 4th baby.. and it was a secret till she arrived.

So we attended her Christening yesterday .. and I made her a canvas to add to the gifts.

Its my first canvas post-Andrew!

 I love the name Blakely..

and I hope her canvas goes well with her decor.

Gender Neutral Baby/Toddler Rocker

I made this chair for a friend's sister in law

She is due in August, and they arent finding out what they are having

They are decorating their nursery in primary colors..

So I thought this would be perfect..

I think the chair turned out so cute!

Fundraiser Canvas Bag

I was asked to submit a piece for a fundraiser at my old high school recently. It was auctioned off, and proceeds go towards a scholarship for those girls who may not be able to afford it, so it was a great cause!

I did both sides of the bag, but sadly forgot to turn it around to get the other side! ugh!
